Cabinet Installation in Corpus Christi: What to Expect

Cabinet Installation in Corpus Christi: What to Expect

The installation phase is where the design finally comes to life. A beautiful cabinet can be ruined by poor installation. Here is what you can expect when our team installs your custom cabinetry.

    Before We Arrive: Site Preparation

Before installation begins, the room must be ready. This means all drywall work should be completed, primed, and painted. Flooring should ideally be installed (or at least the subfloor prepared to the correct height). We will coordinate with you or your builder to ensure the site is clear and safe for our team.

    During Installation: Precision and Scribing

Houses are rarely perfectly square or level, especially older homes in the Coastal Bend. Our installation process involves carefully leveling every box and "scribing" the exposed edges to match the exact contours of your walls and floors. This eliminates unsightly gaps and ensures a built-in look without relying heavily on caulk.

    Hardware and Final Adjustments

Once the boxes are secured, we install the doors, drawers, and hardware. We spend significant time adjusting the hinges and glides so that every reveal (the gap between doors) is perfectly even and every drawer closes smoothly.

What This Means For Your Project

Installation is not an afterthought; it is a critical part of our process. We handle the installation of all the cabinetry we build to ensure the final result meets our strict quality standards. After we finish, we conduct a final walkthrough to ensure you are completely satisfied.
